Measurement & Verification of energy savings
Understanding the success or failure of an energy efficiency project is key to making better decisions about future investments. Erebus provides full M&V services using experienced CMVP (Certified M&V Professional) qualified personnel with a wealth of experience across dozens of projects covering hundreds of buildings. Services include:
- Analysis of energy and site data to and development of a full measurement and verification plan to enable project benefits to be isolated and calculated. The M&V plan may be to the rigorous expectations of the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol and or ISO50015 or take a lighter touch approach depending on the project requirements. Our plans always consider the practicalities of M&V delivery and consideration of cost versus accuracy.
- Review and comment on M&V proposals submitted by other organisations. We work independently to assure clients that project proposals submitted by their suppliers are diligently validated; that the M&V approach is suitable, statistically robust, technically deliverable and that the energy conservation measures being proposed have the potential to deliver the anticipated savings.
